Life with food allergies and more

Matcha Taiyaki

This is completely top 9 allergens free!

Hi Guys! Since Hallowen (one of our favorite days of the year) is over, I’d like to run Matcha Monday againz
I’m so happy to share with you this Top 9 Free Matcha pudding with you!
This is more like pudding than a custard, however, you could use it as a custard  filling for Taiyaki (Japanese waffle like sweets, usually, red sweet beans inside).

Matcha contains caffein so the matcha pudding and matcha Taiyaki are for us adults.

We can’t forget our LOs who have food allergies! So, this Taiyaki with Top 9 Free chocolate pudding inside is for children.  If you would like to make the filling more chocolaty, add a 1/4 cup of “safe” chocolate chips!

Also, if your LOs can eat sweet red beans, I recommend using them. These go really well with ice cream, too. Children with food allergies can enjoy fun foods!

An important note!
The Taiyaki pan gets really hot, so it should be handled with care.  Little ones should not put their fingers nearby while you are cooking.

Hope you enjoy eating these Taiyaki sweets!

I used store-bought pancake mix for the batter.  All of the tools, the recipe, and the ingredients will be on the website under “recipes” and “favorite”

Have fun!
